I've lost it to LOST

Last night was the season premiere of LOST.  A true cult tv show that is now ending the show's epic drama series of time travel, and black smoke monsters.  Try to explain LOST and you will be lost yourself. Coming into the show mid-season. Absolutely useless.  It only makes sense if you watch the show from inception: Season 1, episode 1 and continue your journey from there.  I was a late comer to LOST and had to immediately watch 4 seasons of LOST in about two months time and let me tell you... I did not do much else with my life but watching this show every night.  I became immediately OBSESSED.

So, last night when I had other plans besides watching the season premiere of LOST, I became a little fanatic.  I don't have DVR so I couldn't watch it when I got home.  I couldn't really start watching it mid-show, especially since it was a two hour special.  What is a girl to do?  I started following the twitter feed... It was blowing up.  So much so that I never even got to see my tweet in reference to LOST.  My tweet was lost in LOST.  Even today, the twitter feed is still going crazy.

Researched possibilities about seeing LOST asap...  My first option, and obviously a favorite of mine, is to wait up until 2am to watch it on HULU.  Yes, clearly there are a lot of scary realizations that come with that statement. But I was home by 10:20 and needed my LOST fix now.  It was like a drug.  Watching the ticker of the twitter feed I wanted to understand what everyone else was talking about.  I am dying to know what happens with the death of Jacob.  Does the whole world as we know end?  So, Hulu became an option that was not going to fix my fix.

Another option could be a paid one like itunes, which I still think didn't show up until wee hours of the morning, next day.  And to be honest, wasn't really feeling like paying $2 to itunes.  I am kind of anti to giving them any more money than I already have so that option was crossed off my list.My next option... and yes I know the terrible implications of this option... was going to torrent site.  My usual torrent site is surfthechannel.com.  Usually very fast and not too bad of quality.  But why was I subjecting myself to the torrent site?  And how many others out there could not wait the extra 5 hours for HULU to post it on their site?  Is this a trend that HULU should consider?  A live streaming show online... Is that too much to ask?

Well, I know that I will be ready for next week's show and can't wait to find out what happens when Esau in Locke's body takes charge of the island.  A count down of questions and a race against time.  And of course, the social media frenzy that surrounds the cult show of LOST.
